Suresh Raina issued a statement on the registration of a case in Mumbai Red, saying - 'I was unaware of the protocol'

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina on Tuesday released a statement after the Mumbai police filed a case for violating the Corona norms. He regretted the 'incident inadve1 prtently'. According to the statement, the cricketer was 'in Mumbai for a shoot which took a long time and then he was again invited for a dinner'.

Raina has also claimed that he was unaware of 'local time and protocol'. According to sources, the Mumbai Police registered an FIR after raiding the Dragonfly Club at around 2.30 am on Tuesday morning, along with former Indian cricketers, including celebrities like Suzanne Khan and Guru Randhawa. His statement further states that "when he came to know about the rules, he immediately complied with the procedures laid down by the authorities and regrets the unfortunate and unintentional incident." He has always followed the rules made by the government and will continue to do so even further. '

Let the Mumbai Police raid the Dragonfly Club located at Andheri's Hotel JW Marriott at around 2.30 am on Tuesday where they caught many big celebrities and have taken a case against them. In this raid, Mumbai Police has registered a case against the celebrities including cricketer Suresh Raina under Section 188 of the IPC, Bombay Police Act and Epidemic Diseases Act.

Sources said that Suresh Raina, Suzanne Khan, singer Guru Randhawa and others have also been named in the FIR. Sources said that they have been released after the notice of CRPC 41 (A) (1).

In total, action has been taken on 34 people including hotel staff. Sources said that 19 out of 34 people came from Delhi and Punjab. People outside Mumbai have returned to Delhi from the 7 am flight.
